10 & 30 HOUR OSHA TRAINING FOR CONSTRUCTION & INDUSTRY

The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities.

Through this program, workers can attend 10-hour or 30-hour classes delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers. The 10-hour class is intended for entry level  workers, while the while the 30-hour class is more appropriate for workers with some safety responsibility.

Philadelphia Has New Mandatory OSHA Safety Training Requirements

If you are performing construction work in Philadelphia, several new laws demand your immediate attention to avoid penalties for non-compliance.

The City of Philadelphia’s Department of Licenses and Inspections has begun strict enforcement of new code requirements. From September 30, 2015, Construction Contractors must show proof of OSHA-Authorized safety training.
